To all of you people that bought more than 2 Nuka Cola at Target ...
... You are selfish and I hope you cash in some negative karma. I only wanted 1 of them and they are all sold out in a 100 mi radius of me. I'm not paying a what they are going for or even half of that so there goes that.

Reason being is I was going to have a small mini Fallout 4 area in my game room complete with decorations and the store displays I managed to get from some GameStops where I know the staff. I'm disappointed.

I'll pay someone $10+shipping for a new mint conditioned unopened bottle of it. Hit me up if you are interested.

I checked online and saw that one of my local Target stores has the Nuka Cola in stock. If you want, I'll check it out tomorrow and pick up one for you. I'll be out running some errands, so it won't be a problem.

Thank you Phil for snagging one of these for me! I've got a few more Fallout 4 items to get before I setup my little Fallout 4 section in the game room.

No problem, bro. If you got a problem getting something in the future, don't hesitate to let me know.

So I assume you got the bottle in good shape? I don't really trust the Post Office. I told them to never drop the box. And he told me that you should expect "we are going to drop it, throw it, crush it, and much more. You shouldn't be surprised that we do that kind of thing." I told them, "well, I'm not surprised at all. But I don't expect it." He laughed and didn't "expect" my answer. :P

Is your parcel service that bad that you always have to expect some minor (and sometimes even major) damage?

Yes. Generally you have a ~10% chance of a damaged shipping package and half of those 10% the contents are damaged. What do you think Phil?

JC is being a little generous on his calculations on damage. I believe it's more like 20% of goods are expected to be damaged on arrival. If the item inside the box is not damaged, the box will look like it got run over by a truck. I've shipped out so many things in my life that I lost count years ago. I've also ordered a lot too from the Internet.

The key is to pack the box really, really well. Have a ton of bubble wrap on top of bubble wrap or newspaper if you're cheap. If it's a really fragile item, put it in a box with another box outside of it. Another thing is NOT to have any space around the item inside. Pack it so tight that the item has absolutely no room to roll around. So, the smaller the box the better. If there is any room, make sure you got at least 1-2 inches of cushion around the item inside. With that kind of packaging, even if the box did get tossed around like a baseball, it will still arrive safely.

I've gotten game consoles in the mail before with no packaging material at all! It's crazy. The system was in there bouncing around. Some people just don't care or totally ignorant of what the Post Office is capable of. I've also noticed that female sellers are the MOST responsible shippers. Every item I've ordered from a female seller have been fabulously packed with bubble wrap around everything and then packed extremely neat in the box. Each item even has different color bubble wrapping as well! I don't care how much ego guys have about nice packaging. Women are better at this kind of stuff. :-) I guess I'm done with my rant for the day. Hehe.

Well I guess we have something similar too, but I for myself have never something faulty, but on the other hand I mostly order things from shops and not private sellers.
Conrad (electronic specialist) always pack their goods in a ridiculous big package completely filled with these styrofoam chips.
I also noticed that you can say what you want about apple, but their packaging is really good, you could throw my iphone box against the wall and the only thing that would be a little dented is the corner of the box, otherwise it's very solid.

RE: To all of you people that bought more than 2 Nuka Cola at Target ...
I find that over the last 10 years the overall shipping/packing quality for your average eBay item has gotten rather poor. Used to be when you ordered something 10-15 years ago it was well packed in a box much larger than the item to accommodate a decent amount of packing materials. I remember buying GameBoy carts and seeing the shipping packages come in the size of an SNES box. Think about that, a small GameBoy cart in a box the size of an SNES game. I miss those days...

Also, I just cannot tell you the number of times the last 3~5 years especially where I've received a game damaged because of how it was shipped--not handled but packed. I've also had bad luck as a seller using FedEx or UPS. I know my experience is probably unique but I prefer USPS Priority.
